I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the “Catholic Sisters Walking with Migrants” program…assisting with humanitarian services as I listened firsthand to the sacred stories shared by migrants, learning as I participated in immersion education, humanizing the immigration issue while also helping me to understand even more the complexity of immigration. It was a heart deepening, mind stretching, community building experience that helped me broaden my knowledge and skills to share with my sisters as we carry out advocacy, promote policy changes, and accompany migrants and refugees wherever we find ourselves in ministry serving our “dear neighbor.” – Sister Dani Brought, ASC, Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Catholic Sister Walking with Migrants (2021)
