Victor Lara
“THE INTERACTION WITH PEOPLE IS WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE.”
Víctor Lara has been the Maintenance department technician at the Kino Border Initiative Foundation since March 2020. He was born in Hermosillo Sonora but has lived all his life in Nogales. His work since March 2020 has been to maintain and care for the Migrant Outreach Center.
He enjoys his work because he appreciates KBI and its services and values. It is what makes it different from other companies where he has worked. Interaction with people makes a difference in personal development and responding to the needs of others.
Víctor lives in a migrant neighborhood near the border wall, and he always sees migrants walking with their eyes set on the United States.
