- Annual Phoenix Dinner: The Ninth Annual Kino Border Initiative Dinner, held in Phoenix on Saturday, March 9, drew over 425 dedicated supporters of the KBI, and raised a preliminary total of close to $200,000 for our aid, education, and advocacy programs. Look for highlights from this event—including the Pope Francis Award honoring the Missionary Sisters of the Eucharist—and photos of the proceedings in next month’s newsletter. Many thanks to all who made the evening such a tremendous success!

Sponsored by the Ignatian Solidarity Network (ISN), the inaugural event was their first annual Virtual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, a three-session conference—including a keynote by the KBI’s Father Pete Neeley, S.J.—that focuses on migration issues and is available for streaming at: https://ignatiansolidarity.net/virtual-teach-in/?utm_source=Virtual%20Teach-In&utm_campaign=015dd2df77-IFTJ_2013_Follow_Up11_26_2013_COPY_03&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_cc659d2adf-015dd2df77-256004005&mc_cid=015dd2df77&mc_eid=853301b6c6.
