News Station France 2 makes a report about KBI

On October 18, 2012 Franck Genauzeau a reporter from France 2 news station in France visited Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to learn about the realities of migration.  They visited the Kino Border Initiative and interviewed a migrant about his journey. People of Faith Participating in the Political Debate

KBI’s First Annual Event in Hermosillo

This Thursday, November 8, 2012, the Kino Border Initiative is hosting it's first annual event in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. The fundraising event is a "Bohemian Night" theme with wine and cheese and a concert by tenors Cesar De Saracho and Ignacio Quijado. West Cosgrove Receives the Border Hero Award

On Saturday, October 20, 2012, West Cosgrove the Director of Education for the Kino Border Initiative was recognized in El Paso, Texas for his years of dedication and of work along the U.S./Mexico border . He was presented with the "Border Hero" award by the organization Las Americas. West  has been a border activist for the past seventeen years. He is the founder of Project Puente and Casa Puente.
